Role Overview

As an Academic Counselor at Pregrad, you will play a key role in guiding students in their career journeys. You will interact with prospective students in Tamil and Telugu, helping them overcome uncertainties, explore opportunities, and select the right Pregrad programs. This role is perfect for freshers or early professionals who want to grow while making a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Student Counselling and Guidance


• Connect with prospective students through calls and messages in Tamil, Telugu, and English.


• Understand their concerns, aspirations, and career challenges.


• Suggest suitable Pregrad courses that align with their goals.


• Maintain accurate records of student interactions.

  1. Enrollment Process Support


• Assist students in choosing the right course, making payments, and completing registration.


• Follow up with leads, providing reassurance to hesitant students.


• Clearly communicate course fees and payment structures.

  1. Performance Tracking


• Maintain records of student interactions and conversion outcomes.


• Share regular reports on enrollments and counseling effectiveness.

  1. Pipeline Management


• Manage leads, referrals, follow-ups, and assigned prospects.


• Achieve weekly conversion goals while supporting students in decision-making.

  1. Conversion and Student Commitment


• Guide students confidently towards enrollment decisions.


• Address queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

  1. Student Coordination


• Maintain all communication through professional calls, emails, and messages.


• Act as a liaison between students and the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding.

• Fluency in Tamil and Telugu (spoken) – mandatory
