Job Overview

VPLAK is seeking a committed Legal Executive to join our team in a Junior level, Full-Time position based in Gurgaon. The candidate should have a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience. The role involves applying legal expertise to support the business operations effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Intellectual Property Law (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated ability to navigate and negotiate around the dynamics of intellectual property rights and restrictions.
  • Client Relationship Management (Mandatory skill): Proven experience in maintaining and strengthening client relationships through effective communication.
  • Negotiation Skills (Mandatory skill): Strong negotiation capabilities to facilitate favorable outcomes in legal and business agreements.
  • Contract Drafting: Proficient in drafting and reviewing various legal contracts to minimize potential risks and ensure legal compliance.
  • Legal Research: Expertise in conducting comprehensive legal research to support litigation and compliance activities.
  • Case Management Software: Ability to manage legal cases proactively using case management software for efficient documentation and tracking.
  • Compliance Management: Skills in assessing and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements affecting the organization.
  • Litigation Support: Experience in providing effective support during the litigation process, including preparation and organization of case files.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and drafting legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure legal accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage client relationships by addressing legal matters and providing expert advice for enhanced service delivery.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support various business functions and legal proceedings.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate smooth negotiations by leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Maintain organized and updated legal records using case management tools for efficient retrieval and management.
  • Provide litigation support by organizing and preparing documentation and evidence required for legal proceedings.
  • Update and educate the team on ongoing legal issues and changes in legislation that may impact the organization.
