Qualification: B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical

Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience in QMS in a manufacturing industry and working in a senior position.

Major Skills required:

  • Implementation and Maintenance of ISO
  • Complete understanding and implementation experience of QMS process
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
  • 6 Sigma and/or 5S Manufacturing
  • Knowledge & Implementation experience in Kaizen

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the organizations Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Ensuring the laid down QMS procedures are implemented in the Organization
  • Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems.
  • Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organizations products.
  • Identify root cause and enable permanent corrective actions for product quality issues.
  • Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier & customer)
  • Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
  • Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
  • Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices
  • Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
  • Preparation of monthly quality reports & presentations.
  • Conducting Monthly Management Reviews
  • Carry out product and process auditing.
  • Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management systems
  • Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
