Role Description
This is a full-time on-site night shift role for a Sales Executive (Backend Operations) located in Noida. The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing sales operations, providing excellent customer service, analyzing sales data, and supporting the sales team. Day-to-day tasks will include data entry, preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, processing orders, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Management
- Check sales orders in Inflow system.
- Ensure all product codes, pricing, client PO details, and order details are accurate.
- Share all backorder details with procurement team every morning.
- Coordinate with warehouse/ procurement team for dispatch planning.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Support the front-end sales team with quotations, proposals, and order confirmations.
- Maintain updated records of client interactions, pending orders, and backorders.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and trackers.
Client & Vendor Communication
- Respond to client queries regarding orders, lead time, and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with Procurement team for product availability and delivery timelines.
- Provide after-sales support in terms of documentation and status updates.
Documentation
- Maintain sales records, sales quotes, and invoices.
Operational Excellence
- Identify gaps in the sales process and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with design, procurement, and finance teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Technology,
Business Administration, Commerce, or relevant field
. - 1-2 years of experience in
sales coordination / sales backend operations
(experience in
LED lighting or electrical industry preferred
). - Proficiency in
MS Excel, CRM/ERP systems, and order management tools
. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
