Job Role: IT Asset Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of an organization. At Aptia we need to ensure Digital & Technology Service Delivery is providing world class support to our internal and external clients. Looking for the hands-on individual who can perform end to end Asset Management of IT assets (Hardware and Software) working with team in the matrix organization.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our company's IT assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking and managing hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing asset utilization. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IT asset management strategies and policies.

Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses. Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring timely updates and documentation. Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to manage asset acquisition and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies. Conduct regular audits to verify asset accuracy and identify discrepancies. Optimize asset utilization and recommend cost-saving measures.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT assets and services. Provide training and support to staff on asset management processes and tools. Generate reports and provide insights on asset performance and utilization.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 10 years experienceProven experience in IT asset management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools and software. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:Certification in IT Asset Management (CITAM) or similar. Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Familiarity with procurement and financial processes related to IT assets.
