Associate 2, Finance and Accounts

The Associate 2 (Finance and Accounts) will record the transaction in the books as per Accounting Standard, prepare MIS, vouch the expenses, and assists in Month-end and year-end closing. • Bookkeeping: - Maintaining accounting record in Software.
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly, and addresses inquiries related to the bank accounts.
• Record and review month-end and annual closing journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and supporting schedules for assigned ledger accounts
• Provides support with audit; gathers necessary documents and prepares and reviews schedules.
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Assist in direct and Indirect Tax payment and Filling
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, required.
• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Familiarity with Accounting systems required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
