This managing consulting firm now plans to hire an experienced Accountant trained on IFS ERP for their client who are an MNC in the business of Automation Components Manufacturing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MNC Accountant Expert User of IFS Cloud ERP Finance, and Supply Chain / Logistics Modules (On Contract)

This career opportunity is in Finance and Accounts for the position of an Accountant, with good hands on experience on IFS Cloud ERP (being a good Functional User in Finance/Accounts, and Logistics/Supply Chain).

This position is essentially for someone, who is a Commerce Graduate, with 3 to 5 years of combined experience in Accounting in IFS Cloud/ERP environment, i.e., who has expertise in both of the following fields:

1) Good experience in overall Accounting including General Accounting (GL, Accounts closing), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and who also has good understanding of the Procurement/ Logistics/ Supply-chain processes especially from the perspective of accounting/ financial angle especially the aspects like different costs involved in Import and other purchases, arriving at the landed cost of imports/purchases, stock/inventory reconciliation & inventory valuation; and control on the Pos, and GINs, etc. to properly reflect the same in the profit and loss account and balance sheet; and

2) Should have worked in IFS ERP/ IFS Cloud system in the Finance module (mandatory); and preferably also in the Logistics/Supply Chain module (desirable).

This position requires working with an European Automation Manufacturing MNC (confidential), which is in the nascent stage having set-up its operations in India about a year ago, and plan to steadily grow its business in India market that offers huge potential.

This position will first be on Contractual basis, with a contract for an period of 12 to 18 months initially (but Renewable), and will be on the payroll of a Management Consulting firm, who are acting as management consultants to this MNC company guiding and supporting them on all financial, accounting, technology aspects.

An enterprising and successful candidate who is able to immensely contribute and establish his/her credentials in the early phase of the company, may have the opportunity of being absorbed by the company on its own roll.

The position requires working closely with the companys Finance Director (who is based in Italy) and Regional Finance Head (based in Singapore), as well the managing partner of the Management Consulting firm. The managing partners of the Management Consulting firm are highly qualified (chartered accountants/cost accountants) and experienced professionals, who have worked in top positions in the corporate sector in positions like Head Finance, Global CFO, and Managing Director etc.
