Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Master Data Management function, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all business systems (Sales, SCM, Finance, Manufacturing, and Regulatory).
  • Develop and enforce MDM policies, data governance frameworks, and SOPs in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to define data models, hierarchies, and data quality rules.
  • Oversee master data creation, validation, and maintenance for materials, vendors, customers, and product master data.
  • Drive data cleansing, harmonization, and migration initiatives during system upgrades or ERP integrations.
  • Implement and manage data quality metrics, dashboards, and periodic audits to ensure governance compliance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues and support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Train and guide business users on data standards and MDM best practices.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and technology partners for MDM tool deployment and enhancement.
  • Support digital transformation and automation initiatives through master data alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience in pharma product master management, regulatory master data, or supply chain data governance.
  • Knowledge of GxP compliance requirements for data management.
  • Exposure to data migration and data integration projects.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
