Master Data Specialist – Equipment

Responsibilities
- Validate and correct equipment–spare part linkages for maintenance and material planning.
- Extract and verify attributes from OEM manuals, datasheets, P&IDs, drawings, and BOMs.
- Apply global codification standards (ECLASS, SBM, taxonomy frameworks).
- Maintain and govern master data in ERP systems with high accuracy and strong quality controls.
- Execute data quality checks, duplicate elimination, validation rules, and audit controls.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, SCM, and IT/ERP teams for smooth data governance.
- Support long-term data improvement initiatives and mentor junior analysts.
Skills & Competencies
- Mechanical knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, rotating/static equipment, and instrumentation.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong ERP master data expertise: equipment hierarchies, BOMs, spare lists, asset structures.
- Hands-on experience with ECLASS or similar classification frameworks.
- Skilled in attribute extraction, data governance, data quality reporting.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and committed to long-term projects with strong coordination & leadership skills.
Preferred Background
Experience in offshore rigs, refineries, petrochemical plants, EPC or O&M environments, preferably with exposure to maintenance, reliability, or supply chain operations.
