We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer to handle sales of Capital Equipment such as Vacuum Evaporators (for Industrial Water Treatment) and Shredders, Screens, and Windshifters (for Waste Management and Recycling applications).

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order finalization and for developing business across industries like Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Automotive, Chemicals, Textiles, and Municipal Waste Management.

The role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for capital equipment in the Water and Waste Management sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and government authorities.
  • Manage the entire sales process including lead generation, enquiry handling, proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure.
  • Coordinate with international/domestic principals to finalize technical specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to highlight equipment benefits.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote company products and generate leads.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Travel extensively across India for business development activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering. MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in Capital Equipment Sales or Industrial Equipment Sales, preferably with exposure to European or International Technology suppliers.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Vacuum Evaporators and Water Treatment Systems
  • Waste Management Equipment (Shredders, Screens, Windshifters)
  • Process Systems such as Chillers, Cooling Towers, Dryers, Boilers, etc.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong technical understanding and customer relationship management
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel pan-India
  • Other: Own conveyance preferred.
