A Production Microbiologist in a microbiology department is responsible for overseeing microbial processes in industrial production, ensuring product quality and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key tasks include:

  • Microbial Culturing & Maintenance: Propagating and maintaining microorganisms used in production processes like fermentation or cell culture.
  • Process Monitoring & Optimization: Monitoring microbial growth conditions and optimizing production for efficiency and yield.
  • Quality Control: Conducting microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products to ensure safety and quality.
  • Contamination Control: Implementing protocols to prevent microbial contamination during production.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving microbiological issues in the production process.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Training & Support: Training staff on microbiological procedures and supporting cross-functional teams.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology.
  • Experience with microbiological techniques, industrial equipment, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
