Mechanical Draftsman/Woman

• Create and prepare 2D mechanical drawings: general arrangement (GA) layouts, part/fabrication drawings, assembly/sub-assembly views, sections, and detail drawings.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation: Draft, update, and revise drawings based on design changes, site feedback, and as-built conditions.
• Work from sketches, markups, vendor / supplier data, hand-drawn or digital inputs, and convert those into CAD drawings.
• Liaise with engineers and other design disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, HVAC etc.) to coordinate interfaces and ensure that designs are integrated and constructible.
• Ensure that all drawings meet required standards, tolerances, material specifications, and follow established drafting conventions / best practices.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), material take-offs, fabrication / installation details, and engineering schedules as required.
• Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather measurements, verify site conditions, ensure the drawing reflects reality ("as-built"), and resolve interface issues.
• Maintain version control of drawings and organized documentation of revisions, approvals, and records.
• Perform checks for completeness, correctness, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Support the design team in estimating time/cost for drawing work, possibly assisting in tender / proposal deliverables.

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
