Draftsman (HVAC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings for ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, exhaust systems, and pressurization systems.
• Prepare equipment layouts, AHU/FCU installation drawings, diffuser and grille layouts, and plant room drawings.
• Develop accurate schematic diagrams and riser diagrams.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, engineer instructions, and consultant feedback.
• Coordinate with HVAC engineers, execution teams, and site supervisors for inputs and clarifications.
• Identify and resolve routing clashes with other services.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, ASHRAE standards, local authority norms, and hospital-specific requirements (pressurization, isolation rooms, OT standards, etc.).
• Ensure dimensions, levels, equipment clearances, and technical details are precise before submission.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Draftsmanship / Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience as an HVAC/Mechanical Draftsman in MEP contracting.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems: ducting, chilled water systems, ventilation, AHUs, VRF systems, cleanroom requirements, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and MEP coordination layouts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month

• Bhubaneswar, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
