Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Perundurai for the position of Assistant Accounts Manager. The role involves supervising daily accounting operations, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and financial standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with budget planning, financial reporting, tax filings, audits, and supporting the senior account management team with financial decision-making. Ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
  • Experience with accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suited for stakeholder interaction
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/ICWA certifications are a plus
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or plastics industry is an advantage but not required
