Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance / Quality Control:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of raw materials, masterbatch production, and finished goods.
  • Ensure product quality conforms to specifications, color standards, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct shade matching and lab trials using spectrophotometer and other lab instruments.
  • Maintain and verify COA (Certificate of Analysis) and quality documentation for each batch.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed at all stages of production.

Testing & Analysis:

  • Operate and maintain quality testing equipment such as MFI Tester, Twin Screw Lab Extruder, Injection Moulding Machine, Color Matching Booth, and Spectrophotometer.
  • Evaluate properties such as dispersion, LDR (let down ratio), MFI, color strength, and migration resistance.
  • Coordinate with the production and R&D teams for new color development and sample approvals.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain ISO documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
  • Support the Quality Manager in implementing and improving Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of polymer materials and masterbatch processing.
  • Experience in color matching and QC lab operations.
  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 systems.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP-based reporting.
