Role & responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales located in Mumbai. The Sales Person will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets. Additionally, the Sales Executive will collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Your Primary Role:

  • Identify and approach potential clients for cross-trade shipments.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term engagement.
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by securing new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with overseas agents, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure seamless coordination of cross-trade shipments.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth in cross-trade logistics.
  • Handling overseas network.
  • Handling and coordinating clients globally.
  • Actively manage Customers to push our product capabilities in order to ensure that we meet our product.
  • Identify and select target customers from various sources and develop a sales plan to achieve the market plan.
  • Ensure pricing requests are justified and conform to freight forwarding pricing guidelines with balanced emphasis on net returns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of weekly sales calls, and participate in formulation sales forecasts.
  • Maintain an updated customer database, with appropriate profiles and segmentation.
  • Interact with customers regularly, meeting commitments and achieving high customer satisfaction levels.

Requirement:

  • Experience in Cross Trade Sales
  • Experience in Global Sales -Southeast Asia
  • Experience in Export Sales
  • Years of experience - 2-5 years in Freight forwarding
  • Market - Preferably International Market
  • Target Oriented
