Position: Digital Operations Lead – India Team
Reports To: Digital Lead / Marketing Strategist – Uganda HQ
Coordinates With: USA and Uganda Teams
We are seeking an experienced Digital Operations Lead to manage and grow our India-based team covering SEO, eCommerce, Content, Design, and Social Media. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of leading cross-functional digital teams, driving performance across multiple time zones, and delivering measurable results aligned with company KPIs.
This role requires a proactive leader who can translate strategy into execution, manage workflows seamlessly between Uganda HQ and USA operations, and ensure that the India team delivers consistent, high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the India team across SEO, eCommerce, Content, Design, and Social Media functions.
 - Assign tasks, monitor daily operations, and ensure timely delivery of projects and KPIs.
 - Conduct daily check-ins, track progress through project management tools, and maintain accountability across departments.
 - Identify training needs, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development of team members.
 - Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and results.
 
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track team KPIs and productivity metrics, ensuring deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
 - Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Uganda HQ Digital Lead / Marketing Strategist.
 - Analyze data to identify areas for optimization across content, SEO, and marketplace operations.
 - Recommend and implement workflow improvements based on performance insights.
 
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding new members of the India team.
 - Develop onboarding frameworks and role-specific training materials.
 - Ensure new hires quickly integrate into workflows and understand company processes and goals.
 
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
 - Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience leading digital or eCommerce operations teams, preferably across multiple regions.
 - Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a multi-disciplinary team.
 - Digital Expertise: Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, content production workflows, and marketplace operations (Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
 - Analytical Skills: Data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience in KPI tracking and performance optimization.
 - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively across global teams.
 - Flexibility: Comfortable working across shifts and managing time-zone overlaps with Uganda and USA teams.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a fast-paced digital agency or global eCommerce environment.
 - Knowledge of digital marketing channels and campaign performance metrics.
 - Proven record of improving team efficiency, reducing turnaround time, or achieving measurable KPI growth.
