Role & responsibilities
Identify and onboard potential retailers to expand the sales network.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retailers to ensure repeat business.
- Identify untapped markets and initiate the process to open new retailer codes in the system.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all necessary documentation for new code activation.
- Regularly track and follow up on code activation status to minimize delays.
- Collect and verify all required documents for onboarding new retailers (e.g., KYC, GST, licenses, etc.).
- Ensure the documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain an organized record of retailer documentation for future reference.
- Generate sales orders from retailers and ensure accurate processing in the system.
- Coordinate with the supply chain or logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to retailers.
- Regularly update retailers about order statuses, promotions, and offers.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends within the territory.
- Suggest strategies to enhance market presence and increase brand visibility among retailers.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and activity reports to the reporting manager.
- Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers to foster loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for retailers and address their concerns promptly.
- Drive sales growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing retailers to ensure repeat business.
Performance Metrics:
- Number of new retailer codes opened.
- Sales targets achieved.
- Timeliness and accuracy of retailer documentation.
- Retailer satisfaction and feedback scores.
