Job Title: Assistant Inward Manager
Industry: Pharma Warehouse
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inward operations, including receiving, unloading, inspection, and system entry of FMCG products.
- Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note) against purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and procurement teams for timely delivery and resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation and maintain product quality standards during receipt.
- Oversee proper storage, put-away, and binning in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor and reduce inward damages, pilferages, and stock variances.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth inbound workflow.
- Work closely with QA, Inventory, and Dispatch teams to maintain zero disruption in supply chain flow.
- Maintain accurate inward documentation and compliance with audit requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse inbound operations, preferably in FMCG/3PL setup.
- Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Familiar with warehouse safety & compliance norms.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
