In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required by the company. You will work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure that all purchases meet quality standards and are within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source potential suppliers/vendors based on the company's requirements
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and prices
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to address any issues or concerns
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement strategies
  • Stay updated with market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
