Role & responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Collect, cleanse, and analyse data using statistical and data mining techniques.
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in data to gain insights into sales performance, market dynamics,
  • and customer behavior, route performance and optimization opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced statistical models and algorithms to forecast demand, capacity, and resource requirements.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and
  • competitive positioning.
  • Analyze market segmentation, customer demographics, and buying behaviors to support sales and marketing
  • strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on product positioning, pricing strategies, and market expansion
  • opportunities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and distribution, such as revenue, market share,
  • customer acquisition, and customer retention.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track sales performance, identify areas for improvement,
  • collaborate and communicate findings to stakeholders and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer experience, to
  • develop effective routes, timings, and network plans to maximise unit level economics.
  • Utilize transportation management systems and route planning software to create, evaluate, and modify
  • routes based on real-time data and operational constraints.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer experience, to
  • understand business requirements and develop effective Sales strategies.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as carriers and vendors, to ensure smooth execution of transportation
  • operations and adherence to established routes.
  • Communicate and present findings, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the
  • organization.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (ie. Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial
  • Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline). A master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably from sales driven organisations, with proficiency in data
  • analysis, and visualization using tools such as SQL, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, forecasting methods, and optimization algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
