Data Analyst – Python & Power BI

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify data quality issues and functional gaps.
  • Conduct detailed data/functional gap analysis and collaborate with stakeholders for discussions and solution brainstorming.
  • Build and deliver
    Power BI reports
    and dashboards based on the analyzed data to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Work with techno-functional teams to explain the logic required for data extraction and report creation.
  • Communicate functional gaps to testing and delivery teams for smoother implementation.
  • Perform month-end reconciliation and variance analysis between actual data and tactical adjustments.
  • Create and maintain
    test cases
    , upload them into test management tools when required.
  • Coordinate with onshore leads to present solutions, share knowledge, and conduct training sessions when needed.
  • Prepare and circulate daily/weekly status reports and contribute to project-level reporting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation as per project requirements.
  • Support knowledge transfer and cross-training to ensure team backup coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or BE in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of
    Power BI
    , including
    Power Query
    and
    DAX
    .
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and ability to work with multiple datasets to build relational models.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Office
    , including MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Knowledge of
    Python
    (or willingness to learn) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to adapt to new technologies, and willingness to learn and implement innovative solutions.
