Role A Client Director, also known as an Account Director or Business Development Director, is a senior-level position responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients or accounts. The primary goal is to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.
Responsibilities:
.Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Understand clients' business needs and objectives. Act as the main point of contact and advocate for clients within the organization. · Account Strategy: Create and implement account strategies that align with both client goals and the organization's objectives. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to clients. · Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and refine strategic plans. Ensure that the organization's products or services align with the client's strategic vision. · Client Satisfaction: Monitor and assess client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly. Work to exceed client expectations and ensure their success. · Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of client accounts, including budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets. Track and report on key financial metrics. · Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to deliver solutions that meet client needs. Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams working on client projects. · Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation and renewal of contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with contract terms and obligations. · Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. - Background in the Banking Industry with experience in client relations management with CXO-level engagement
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in client management, account management, or business development, often with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics related to the clients you serve.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
