Location: Ahmedabad

Job Objective

To administer, oversee, and manage contracts post-award, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, while facilitating material management and vendor coordination to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Monitor adherence to contract management processes and standards.
  • Develop and update contract management policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Project Heads to ensure contract strategies support project objectives.
  • Identify and escalate contract-related risks to senior leadership.
  • Resolve major disputes and claims in a timely manner.
  • Support audit processes by providing relevant data and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct monthly review meetings with contractors to track and resolve issues.
  • Negotiate and prepare NFAs for contract amendments and ensure timely release of change orders.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent contract management throughout the lifecycle.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Act as a liaison between contractors/vendors and project teams.
  • Evaluate contractor performance based on contractual obligations.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials as per project requirements.
  • Process running bills and ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Manage Bank Guarantees (BGs) and related documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 812 years in contract management, preferably in EPC or infrastructure projects
