Role Summary

Own the end-to-end LAP operationsfrom lead login to disbursement and post-disbursal servicing. Set up processes, controls, SLAs/TATs, and vendor governance to deliver a compliant, scalable, and cost-efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Ownership: Define, document, and continuously improve SOPs across login, QC, underwriting ops support, sanction, disbursal, OTC/PDD, and document management.
  • Control & Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI/AML/PML norms, CKYC, DLG (digital lending) guidelines, Fair Practices Code, data privacy, and outsourcing/vendor guidelines.
  • Disbursal Factory: Standardize disbursal readiness (legal/technical/FI/RCU, sanction conditions), maker-checker controls, deductions, tranche disbursals, and funding confirmations.
  • Documentation & Mortgage: Oversee state-wise documentation, stamping/franking, MODT/Registered Mortgage, safe custody, retrieval (incl. BT/BT+Top-up), and NOC release.
  • OTC/PDD Governance: Drive sanction condition closure (OTC) and PDD monitoring with strict ageing controls and dashboards.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Empanel and govern legal, technical, FI/RCU, CPV, and courier/storage partners with SLAs, pricing, and audit trails.
  • Tech & Automation: Work with LOS/LMS/Workflow teams to enable CKYC, e-sign, e-NACH, AA, rule engines, QC gates, and audit trails.
  • Risk & Audit Readiness: Close internal/external audit points, manage operational risk events, and implement CAPA.
  • People & Capacity: Build and manage a high-performing ops team; plan capacity for peaks (month/quarter ends).
  • MIS & Governance: Publish daily/weekly dashboards (TATs, quality, cost/file, exception buckets) and run cadence reviews.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years in secured-lending operations, with 3+ years specifically in LAP; prior scale handling (multi-state, multi-channel).
  • Systems: Strong hands-on with LOS/LMS (e.g., FinnOne/Intellect/Newgen/Custom), CKYC, e-Sign, e-NACH/ACH, Account Aggregator, document management.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Practical knowledge of RBI guidelines for KYC/AML, digital lending, outsourcing, fair practices, and info-security.
  • Process & Controls: Proven record of setting up maker-checker, QC, exception handling, and vendor governance.

  • Exposure to DA/Co-lending ops, escrow/settlement flows, payout automation; lean/Six-Sigma mindset; SQL/Excel automation.
