VP- Fund Raising

Description
  • Prospect potential clients, and gather documentation to begin the funding process.
  • Develop leads, and cultivate a list of targeted prospects with UHNIs, HNIs, family offices, wealth managers, institutional investors, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), etc.
  • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to target the above by canvassing and conducting meetings.
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with leadership to formulate and execute a go-to-market strategy that includes lead generation and CRM data entering daily-specific trends.
  • Maintain a proper Investor Relations (IR) plan.
  • Respond to investor requests for information, helping create documents like annual reports, monthly/quarterly review documents, and board meeting decks, and oversee any investor requests.
  • Market and explain briefly about the products in a clear & transparent manner.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research for monthly competition stats focused on the real estate industry.
  • Work with the strategy team to shape up annual/quarterly strategies within the company and aid in reviewing and governing the strategic plan.
  • Prepare information memorandums, financial analysis - analytical, and market intelligence reports.
  • Preparation of marketing materials such as presentations, proposals & other EOI documents and ensure timeliness and accuracy of deliverables such as cash flows and presentations.
  • Proactively engage and support the seniors in business development activities through networking, client calls, industry seminars, leveraging the existing relationships of other business units focusing on real estate capital markets transactions.
Key Skills
  • Qualification: PG Degree in finance /CA/CFA.
  • Build quality relationships with new clients.
  • Capital raising (Debt / Equity) background is preferred - Experience and pre-existing network within capital raising from institutional, family office, and wealth management businesses with a real estate sector focus.
  • Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong number crunching and analytical skills proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a prerequisite to this position.
  • Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership of the full process and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines ensuring high-quality reports.
  • Experience in the front-end setup and structuring of a fund, being able to connect with the relevant advisors and work through the regulatory processes will be an added advantage.
  • This position represents an interesting opportunity to have real tangible input and ownership of fundraising, deployment, and management working closely with the management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
