Role & responsibilities

*Job Summary:*

We're looking for a creative and skilled Textile Designer to join our team. As a Textile Designer, you'll be responsible for creating unique and innovative designs for home furnishings products. You'll work closely with our design team to develop designs that meet our brand's aesthetic and functional requirements.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • *Design Development:* Create original textile designs and patterns for home furnishings products, considering current trends and consumer preferences.
  • *Collaboration:* Work with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, ensuring designs meet brand requirements.
  • *Technical Skills:* Use design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to produce digital artwork and prepare technical specifications for production.
  • *Color and Fabric Selection:* Select appropriate colors, patterns, and materials for each design, considering textile production processes.
  • *Design Presentation:* Prepare design presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

*Requirements:*

  • *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
  • *Experience:* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in textile design, preferably in home furnishings.
  • *Skills:*
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of textile production processes, color theory, and fabric types.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

  • *Experience with CAD programs for textiles.*
  • *Knowledge of textile design techniques and trends.*
  • *Strong portfolio showcasing design skills.*
