Position: Textile Designer
Location: Udyog Vihar Phase-1, Gurgaon
Experience: 5 years in Home Furnishing
Salary: 45-60k
Industry: Textile/Fashion
Role: Designer Home Textile
The candidate is expected to produce commercially viable samples/CADs based on buyer moodboards. Ability to think creatively and not reference Pinterest/internet extensively. Expected to work with team and share resources judicially. Fair knowledge of multi technique/surface embroideries.
Qualification- Should have passed out from a premier design institute.
- Hands-on working experience at an export house of 5-8 years in home furnishing/Soft Goods (Pillow/Table textile/beaded chargers/mats, Wall decor, Christmas made-ups); experience with US buyers is mandatory.
- Should have worked for TJ-MAX buyer for a good 3-4 years.
- Ability to work on CADs and hand-draw if required.
- Knowledge of printing techniques.
- Excellent command of oral & written communication with Buying House and direct Buyers.
- Fair knowledge of commercials of design made.
