Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

  • Conduct regular
    quality inspections
    of interior design projects during different stages of execution.
  • Review and verify that all design documentation, drawings, and specifications are
    accurate, complete
    , and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor
    on-site work
    to ensure compliance with design intent, workmanship standards, and safety protocols.
  • Check
    material samples
    , finishes, and furniture against approved specifications and ensure proper implementation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues.
  • Prepare and maintain
    QC reports
    , snag lists, and follow-up actions to ensure timely closure of defects and deviations.
  • Ensure compliance with
    industry standards, codes, and client requirements
    throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in defining
    quality benchmarks
    and contribute to continual improvement of QC processes.
  • Participate in
    mock-up reviews
    , site meetings, and client inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in
    Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering
    .
  • 3+ years
    of experience in a QC role within interior design, architecture, or construction.
  • Strong understanding of
    materials, detailing, finishes
    , and interior construction methods.
  • Familiarity with
    design software
    like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management tools.
  • Excellent
    attention to detail
    and strong
    analytical and observational skills
    .
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
    fast-paced, deadline-driven
    environment.
  • Strong verbal and written
    communication skills
    .
