Purpose of the Role
Drive top-line and bottom-line growth for Umicore India through strategic sales and business development of:
- Precious Metal Catalysts
- Contact & Power Technology Materials
- Zinc-based Products
Manage warehouse sales profitably and execute market strategies across diverse segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business across multiple product lines:
- Homogeneous & Inorganic Catalysts
- Electrical Contact & Brazing Materials
- Zinc Dust & Zinc Oxide for coatings, pharma, agrochemicals, and feed
- New Umicore products (PEM, JIM, IBP)
- Execute closed-loop models for catalyst recycling
- Conduct market research and implement strategic plans
- Manage warehouse sales, inventory, and capital flow
- Support sourcing of industrial by-products for global contracts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and reporting
Strategic Focus (1–3 Years)
- Stabilize and grow PMC business across target segments
- Launch and support new Umicore businesses in India
- Expand third-party supplier base and portfolio
- Drive revenue and profitability growth in alignment with Country Management
