About the Role

The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving retail and digital sales initiatives to meet business growth objectives. This role involves leading a large team and developing effective sales strategies across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales (Direct-to-Customer) and Digital Sales initiatives to meet business growth objectives. Also channel and distribution sales
  • Lead and manage a large team comprising Relationship Managers (RMs), Relationship Officers (ROs), Virtual Relationship Managers (VRMs), Field Sales Executives, and Telecallers.
  • Develop and manage sales strategies across digital platforms and fintech partnerships.
  • Ensure consistent lead generation through digital channels and achieve strong conversion ratios.
  • Monitor and enhance AUM generation through effective sales execution.
  • Maintain robust MIS reports, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely reporting to management.
  • Drive data-based analytics for performance monitoring, decision-making, and improving sales efficiency.
  • Ensure the team is performance-driven, motivated, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and sales productivity.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/MBA with 12–18 years of experience in the Mutual Fund industry.
  • Proven track record of retail and digital sales leadership with consistent achievement of AUM targets.
  • Prior experience in managing large sales teams and multi-channel distribution.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate large teams.
  • Performance-oriented mindset with proven ability to deliver on aggressive sales targets.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to monitor sales performance and improve business outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Hands-on experience in managing digital sales, fintech collaborations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement abilities.

Preferred Skills
