Job Description – Sales Manager (Medical Equipment)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead our medical equipment business in Ahmedabad and surrounding regions. The role requires managing a sales team, engaging directly with surgeons and hospitals, and driving business growth through strategic field activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospital management, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct joint field visits with team members to guide and support them in client interactions.
  • Drive product penetration by organizing demos, workshops, and surgeon engagement programs.
  • Develop territory-wise business plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and provide feedback to senior management.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/Pharma/Commerce (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in medical equipment / pharma / healthcare sales, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
  • Strong surgeon network in Ahmedabad & nearby Gujarat markets (preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
