Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead and manage production operations in our Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of modern manufacturing systems, and a passion for sustainable technologies. The Production Manager will ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts.

  • Ensure efficient resource allocation including manpower, machines, and materials.

  • Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead a team of supervisors, line leaders, and production staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, training, and development programs to upskill the workforce.

  • Quality Assurance & Control:

  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to maintain product standards and resolve production issues.

  • Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the shop floor.

  • Process Optimization:

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency.

  • Identify and reduce bottlenecks, waste, and downtime.

  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

  • Ensure workplace safety, adherence to environmental regulations, and compliance with company policies.

  • Promote a zero-accident culture.

  • Inventory & Cost Control:

  • Monitor usage of raw materials and minimize waste.

  • Work with supply chain and procurement teams for timely availability of components and cost-effective sourcing.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with R&D, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
