Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

12–20 years

Mandatory Criteria:

  • Experience in gear manufacturing quality for bevel (CWP/Hypoid) and cylindrical gears.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS, APQP, PPAP, and core quality tools.
  • Experience in inspection and control of gear machining, lapping, grinding, and assembly.

Job Overview:

Ensure product and process quality across gear manufacturing operations, maintaining customer standards for bevel and cylindrical gears through robust inspection and process control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage in-process and final inspection activities for gear machining and assembly.
  • Conduct and review FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation.
  • Drive quality improvement and zero-defect initiatives across gear lines.
  • Interact with SQE, production, and ME for defect reduction and process control.
  • Monitor customer PPM, internal rejections, and supplier performance.
