Duckcreek Policy Developer

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining the commercial policy administration system, Duck Creek, and providing support for system enhancements, upgrades, and technical initiatives.
  • Analyze system environments and infrastructure to develop implementation plans and verification procedures.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to ensure productive partnerships and efficiently resolve system issues.
  • Conduct requirements gathering meetings, facilitate stakeholder agreement, and use design principles to define architecture and design on the Duck Creek suite.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, including digital transformation, InsureTech, AI/Machine Learning, and continuously enhance knowledge of Duck Creek architecture and product functionalities.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of experience in defining architecture and design on the Duck Creek suite, both SaaS and on-premise, with a strong understanding of the P&C industry.
  • Proficient in Duck Creek suite, including Policy, Billing, Insights, and distribution management, and detailed knowledge of Duck Creek architecture, data model, UI design, processes, and events.
  • Experience in configuring Duck Creek for Commercial Auto lines and integrating it with in-house and third-party systems, along with expertise in configuring Duck Creek in SaaS mode.
  • Experience in upgrading Duck Creek, preferably 7.x - 8.x.
Required Skills:
  • Strong facilitation skills for conducting requirements gathering and stakeholder agreement meetings.
  • Knowledge of business process design concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Duck Creek Policy or Billing Certification.
