AXA XL is looking for talented individuals to support our business across all product lines and geographies. This dynamic, global opportunity involves collaborating with Underwriting Assistants/Underwriters based in producing offices across multiple locations. As a senior analyst, the individual would be involved in processing policy bookings, Issuance of policy documents, endorsements including internal quality checks.  

What you'll be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Serve as the policy administrator to producing office UA, AXA XL underwriters and Middle Office, own end-to-end policy lifecycle with precision and timeliness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to interpret instructions from producing office UAs, handle rejections, close cases, and coordinate with UAs and MO to resolve queries; manage premium bookings per local standards, update deductions/taxes, validate reinsurance policy updates; draft and issue compliant policy documents and invoices under SLAs.
  • Perform independent sanity checks on processes to ensure end-to-end coherence, regulatory compliance, data integrity, and SLA adherence.
  • Review tasks performed by processor and provide constructive / timely feedback, focusing on specific observations, strengths and development opportunities; suggest actionable improvements and exemplars, and collaborate to embed learnings into current and future work.
  • Deliver process training to new joiners; mentor and develop to support their learning, maintain training materials and knowledge base; assess training effectiveness.
  • Maintain data quality; perform accurate data entry, validation, reconciliation, and reporting; support audit readiness.
  • Being involved in preparing and maintaining documentation of the exisiting and future processes, including detailed process maps/manuals.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline end-to-end processes, design and implement improvements, measure impact, and promote best practices across UAs, MO, and related stakeholders.
  • Support shift right and standardization opportunities and ensure smooth transition (wherever applicable)
  • Ensure privacy and internal control compliance; support audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Using workflow and time-tracking tools to ensure proper work organization and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Underwriting, Claims, Middle Office, Credit Control, CAT Modelling, IT) to optimize processes; document SOPs and drive system enhancements in different time zones.

You will report to Deputy Manager.

What you will BRING

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably in Insurance, Commerce or Finance & Accounting.
  • Relevant years of experience in AXA XL.

  • Good knowledge of Insurance/Underwriting.

  • Good knowledge of policy management tools.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to comprehend instructions and execute.

  • Ability to perform the process with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
