Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our fast-paced project team. The role involves contributing to the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems for next-generation hydrogen infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into reliable, safe, and manufacturable products.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. The MDE will be responsible for overseeing selection and development of manufacturing processes, designing and improving manufacturing systems, and product optimization.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and enclosures for hydroge applications.
  • Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using CAD software.
  • Support component selection for piping, fittings, pressure vessels, and mechanical subsystems.
  • Conduct basic design calculations and assist in mechanical integrity and performance checks.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and testing teams during prototype development and validation.
  • Ensure design compliance with relevant safety codes, standards, and internal quality requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical Engineering
    or related field.
  • 1–3 years
    of experience in mechanical design or product development (preferably in energy, process, or automotive sectors).
  • Proficiency in
    3D CAD tools
    such as SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of pressure systems, piping, and mechanical fabrication practices.
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics, materials, and fluid flow.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about hydrogen technologies and safety standards.
  • Experience in clean energy or related sectors is a plus.
