Technical Specialist

We are seeking hands-on technical leader responsible for design, coding, delivery and supporting large-scale enterprise systems on the .NET platform. Experienced in working in cross functional and multi-location teams comprising of business analysts, .Net and Mainframe programmers to translate business needs into resilient, maintainable solutions. Knowledge of financial markets and their workings. Good understanding of leading financial products like Datastream.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture and design of complex .NET applications (both front end and backend) specifically integration of .Net applications with mainframe.

• Estimate, plan, implement, test, deploy and support.

• Good knowledge of platform, performance and security.

• Adept at designing APIs, data access layers and integration with queues/databases.

• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers.

• Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis and implement fixes.

• Collaborate with product teams, QA, Operations and security teams.

• Drive application performance enhancement initiatives.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for the developed applications and systems.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience encompassing architecture, design, code, implementation and support of .NET based applications (both lower and latest versions).

• ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, middleware, routing, auth.

• SQL Server: Strong stored procedure coding skills, query and database tuning for performance

• Security: Role-based access, secure coding practices.

• Source control: Git branching strategies, code review workflows.

• Integration of tools like Semgrep and Blackduck into CI/CD pipelines.

• Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
