Position Overview

Seeking a research specialist and technical report writer to support our team of Civil and Environmental Engineers conducting commercial property assessments. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in any one of the following disciplines: environmental science, civil engineering, construction industry, building science or geology.

In this role, you will primarily assist in preparing technical reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, strong writing and communication skills, and comfort with meeting tight project deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare organized and accurate written reports within a tight deadline. Training will be provided.
  • Conduct online and database research and ability to synthesize information in provided templates.
  • Describe photo documentation of property conditions and structural elements.
  • Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, civil engineering, construction industry, building science or geology.
  • At least 3 years of experience with 1 year of technical writing experience preferred.
  • A background check will be conducted prior to employment.
  • Ability to write clear, concise field reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability to shifting project needs.
  • Proficient in using digital cameras and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation & Benefits

6 to 8 lakh per annum.
