Buildskill is India's trusted home improvement and tools brand, delivering high-performance products for professionals and DIY enthusiasts. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Product Manager who will lead our new product development and global sourcing bridges especially with China.

What You'll Do

  • Own the entire new product development lifecycle from concept to launch; driving innovation in tools and home improvement products.

  • Identify market trends, manage technical feasibility, evaluate commercial potential, and drive crossfunctional execution for product launches.

  • Develop business cases, manage technical models, and lead vendor evaluation, sourcing, and negotiations (especially with Chinese partners).

  • Serve as product champion: advocate customer feedback, prioritize features, and ensure quality standards.

  • Coordinate closely with R&D, engineering, procurement, marketing, and operations teams.

  • Strategically travel both domestically and internationally (mandatory: especially China) for vendor development, manufacturing inspections, market intelligence, and global sourcing.

  • Enhance Buildskill's ecosystem by introducing new technologies, improving cost efficiencies, and accelerating time-to-market.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's in Engineering (mandatory); MBA with strong business acumen is a plus.

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in senior product development, ideally within home improvement, tools, hardware, or mechanical domains.

  • Hands-on expertise leading new product development, strategizing launches, and managing multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills, including international exposure (China essential).

  • Outstanding project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Passport holder, ready for frequent travel and global assignments.

  • Proven track record in driving commercial success and technical excellence.

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
