Job Summary:

Bull Machines Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment, is looking for an experienced and technically competent Logistics Manager to lead our domestic logistics operations. The role involves managing dispatches of tractor attachments, agricultural implements, Construction Equipment and volumetric assemblies across India. The candidate should possess strong expertise in volumetric logistics planning, vehicle load optimization, transporter coordination, and route management to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute domestic dispatch operations for finished goods and sub-assemblies, ensuring timely delivery to dealers and customers.
  • Develop load planning and cube optimization strategies for large, space-intensive components like cabins, implements, and structural weldments.
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and warehouse teams for dispatch readiness and schedule adherence.
  • Design and approve vehicle loading diagrams, packaging instructions, and lashing standards to ensure the safety of goods during transit.
  • Evaluate and finalize transporters based on cost, capacity, reliability, and compliance with statutory norms.
  • Monitor vehicle utilization, freight cost per cubic meter, and improve volumetric efficiency.
  • Oversee transit tracking, GPS monitoring, and ensure prompt communication in case of deviations or delays.
  • Conduct route and vehicle feasibility assessments for long-haul movements considering axle load limits, bridge height, and state permit requirements.
  • Supervise the packaging of fragile and painted components, ensuring adherence to quality and handling standards.
  • Manage logistics documentationE-way bills, invoices, LR copies, and proof of deliveryand ensure ERP-based transaction accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce freight cost, improve delivery performance, and enhance packaging effectiveness.
  • Lead the logistics team, train coordinators and dispatch executives, and ensure adherence to Bulls operational excellence standards.

Technical Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of volumetric logistics planning and cube utilization analysis.
  • Familiarity with vehicle types and capacities (20ft, 32ft, 40ft open-body, sidewall, hydraulic trailer).
  • Expertise in packaging and lashing methods for heavy and fragile equipment.
  • Strong understanding of RTO norms, transit insurance, and inter/intra-state documentation.
  • Proficiency in ERP / TMS (preferably SAP) for logistics tracking and reporting.
  • Analytical skills in cost modeling, freight analysis, and route optimization.
