Job Purpose:

The General Manager - HR will be responsible for leading the human resources function and developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall business plan. This includes overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, compliance, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy & Leadership

  2. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.

  3. Act as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team.

  4. Lead organizational change initiatives to support business transformation.

  5. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  6. Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for all levels.

  7. Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure future talent needs are met.

  8. Build employer branding and campus engagement strategies.

  9. Performance Management

  10. Design and implement effective performance management systems (e.g., KPIs, OKRs).

  11. Drive high-performance culture through continuous feedback and appraisal systems.

  12. Learning & Development

  13. Identify training needs and develop learning programs to enhance employee capabilities.

  14. Oversee leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

  15. Employee Engagement & Culture

  16. Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.

  17. Lead employee engagement initiatives and drive a strong EVP (Employee Value Proposition).

  18. Address employee grievances and promote a positive work environment.

  19. Compensation & Benefits

  20. Develop and manage competitive compensation structures and incentive programs.

  21. Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

  22. Oversee payroll and statutory compliance.

  23. Compliance & Risk Management

  24. Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory regulations.

  25. Mitigate HR-related risks through robust policies and practices.

  26. HR Operations & Technology

  27. Drive process efficiency through digitization and HRMS platforms.

  28. Oversee accurate HR data management and reporting.
