Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional specializing in Payroll & Statutory Compliance to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensure legal compliance, and support HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of statutory returns, and payroll systems, with a proven track record of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing including salary inputs, deductions, reimbursements, tax calculations, and final settlements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings/returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, attendance, and leave management.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and government bodies for inspections and compliance audits.
- Respond to payroll and compliance-related employee queries with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support HR operations in policy implementation, HRMS data management, and employee documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work with deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
