Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – DGFT & EXIM to manage and oversee all export-import related activities, DGFT documentation, and government liaison. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of EXIM policies, DGFT procedures, export incentives, and customs clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle DGFT-related activities such as Advance License, EPCG License, MEIS/RODTEP/ROSCTL claims, and other export incentive schemes.

  • Manage Import & Export documentation including shipping bills, invoices, packing lists, and LC documents.

  • Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and customs for clearance and shipment tracking.

  • Maintain compliance with Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and ensure timely submission of required returns and documents.

  • Monitor and manage export benefits, licensing renewals, and duty drawback claims.

  • Liaise with banks for LC negotiation, realization, and foreign remittances.

  • Ensure proper record keeping and filing of all EXIM-related documentation.

  • Provide analytical and strategic inputs to improve EXIM process efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Business Administration / International Trade or equivalent.

  • 3–5 years of experience in DGFT & EXIM documentation and operations.

  • Strong knowledge of DGFT procedures, customs regulations, FTP, and export incentives.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (knowledge of Tally/SAP preferred).

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
