Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives. This role involves overseeing ISO documentation, PPAP processes, and ensuring the quality standards of our manufacturing operations. As a key team player in a dynamic startup environment, you will also be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring a QA team, and implementing best practices in measurement and inspection techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ISO quality management documentation and procedures.
  • Prepare and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Lead quality audits and inspections, utilizing knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality standards, measurement techniques, and inspection processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and proactivity in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of quality assurance experience in CNC manufacturing or similar precision engineering fields.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with PPAP processes and related documentation.
  • Expertise in using measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection tools.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to train and lead a team.
  • Self-starter with high motivation, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a startup environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.
  • Experience with calibration and validation of measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus.
