Role Overview

We are seeking a 
Senior QA Engineer
 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products through a balanced mix of manual and automated testing. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate fixes, and continuously improve our testing processes. In this role, you will be
required to work during US hours (India Time 1am - 9am)
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Testing:
     Execute thorough testing of website and mobile applications using both manual techniques and automated testing tools.
  • Test Development:
     Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts to assess application functionality and performance.
  • Automation:
     Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts, ensuring reliability and efficiency in regression testing.
  • Manual Exploration:
     Perform exploratory and usability testing to uncover issues that may not be caught by automation alone.
  • Collaboration:
     Work hand-in-hand with development teams to report issues, validate resolutions, and ensure a seamless integration of quality assurance into the development lifecycle.
  • Documentation:
     Maintain comprehensive records of test results, defects, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, specifically with testing both website and mobile applications.
  • Strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, cases, and automated scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA best practices, bug tracking systems, and testing tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environments.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with performance and security testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
