Arbortec Systems Pvt. Ltd. Mohali, is a fully owned subsidiary of Arbor Financial Systems Limited (UK), we provides Order and Portfolio Management Software for hedge funds across Europe and US. We are a fast growing MNC with many opportunities to offer and right now we are looking for a strong, intelligent, committed and enthusiastic Analyst's to join us immediately at our Mohali office.

Role: Associate Analyst (Middle Office / Support)

Positions Open: 4

Location: Sec 67, IT Park, Mohali

Job Description:

  • This role is for an analyst to work closely with clients (hedge funds and brokers) on:- understanding their business requirements plus managing associated support and development tasks.
  • Coordinate with regional offices/Prime Brokers/ Fund Administrator in connection with the setting up of new connections for trade recon and file transfers.
  • Process documentation, Reconciliation, P&L, NAV calculation, Fund Accounting, Position & Cash Reconciliation, P&L Calculations, FIX, Middle/Back Office work.
  • You will be trained in detailed processes involved in portfolio management, so a good understanding of accounting and financial markets is essential.
  • Assistance with client support will be expected. This will help you build relationships with our clients and understand the business further.
  • Analyzing Client Business Requirements.
  • Requirement gathering / analysis / validation.
  • On boarding of new clients, setting up and loading funds.
  • Providing solutions to clients with financial knowledge and system knowledge.
  • Proactively contribute to the Arbor's Business Analyst team.

Preferred Candidates:

  • Excellent English communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to operate and contribute to a global team and work with your own initiative.
  • Having strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Candidate should be results-oriented, team player and self-motivator with a strong initiative to deliver
  • Strong ability as a self-starter who can appropriately priorities work and manage time
  • EMS. XML, SQL, Bloomberg, Market Data, experience is a definite plus
  • Good understanding of SDLC & Trade Life Cycle.
  • MBA (finance) Experience/knowledge in Trading / FX / Capital / Hedge Fund Market is preferred
  • Willing to work in monthly rotational shifts, as our clients are based in US and Europe.
