Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager from the bags and films or flexible packaging industry to lead Biometa's business growth and brand presence.

The role involves converting leads into business, developing B2B and distribution sales channels, executing strategic marketing initiatives, and building and managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

  • • Identify, approach, and convert leads into long-term clients across B2B, retail, and distribution channels.
  • • Conduct cold calls, client meetings, and product presentations to generate and close sales opportunities.
  • • Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • • Create and manage quotations, PIs, and complete sales documentation.
  • • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with company targets.
  • • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  • • Plan territory-wise and industry-specific sales strategies to expand Biometa's reach.
  • • Build, guide, and monitor a sales team, ensuring achievement of individual and collective goals.
  • • Track sales pipeline, conversion ratios, and maintain CRM data for management reporting.

Marketing Responsibilities

Digital Marketing:

  • • Manage and grow Biometa's social media presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to build a strong digital community.
  • • Oversee content creation, post design, and campaign scheduling in collaboration with digital partners.
  • • Write or supervise blogs, case studies, and product stories that strengthen brand credibility.
  • • Run lead generation campaigns and ensure lead nurturing and conversion through consistent follow-up.
  • • Analyze digital performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.

Offline Marketing & Branding:

  • • Plan and execute B2B marketing activities, exhibitions, and PR events to increase brand visibility.
  • • Develop marketing materials, product brochures, and presentations for sales support.
  • • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • • Build and maintain a prospect and customer database for targeted outreach.
  • • Prepare and manage marketing budgets, ensuring ROI-driven campaigns and activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • • 4–8 years of relevant experience in the bags, films, or packaging industry (compostable or flexible packaging preferred).
  • • Proven track record of lead generation, conversion, and B2B sales success.
  • • Strong understanding of industrial sales cycles, pricing, and client management.
  • • Exposure to digital marketing tools and campaign planning.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • • Ability to build and manage a sales and marketing team from scratch.
  • • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ahmedabad (Changodar area).
