The Procurement Executive will play a critical role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement activities for materials and subcontracted services required for commercial interiors projects. This role requires a proactive approach to vendor management and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive and reliable vendor/subcontractor database covering all relevant trades such as carpentry, painting, POP/gypsum, flooring, electrical, plumbing, glass, aluminum, and modular furniture.
  • Conduct vendor evaluation and verification processes, including assessing capacity, reliability, and past performance.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value for the company.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring clear specifications and timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
  • Track procurement status and proactively resolve any delays or supply chain issues.
  • Collaborate closely with site engineers and project managers to address urgent material requirements and substitutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of vendor rates, delivery performance, and market pricing trends.
  • Generate weekly procurement reports highlighting vendor development, cost savings, and procurement challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and optimize costs.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma with 24 years of procurement experience in commercial interiors, fit-outs, or construction.
  • Well-established network of vendors and subcontractors in Bangalores interior contracting ecosystem.
  • Good knowledge of commercial interior materials, finishes, and MEP components.
  • Excellent negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for reporting and data management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of Kannada is an advantage.
