Recommendation: Change this to Executive - Food Innovation & Facility Administration

EXPERIENCE

  • Preference would be for a B.Sc or M.Sc Food Technologist. Can also look at a non-food technologist who has previously worked in a QSR store.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in food NPD or manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working in R&D Lab / Kitchen setup with strong documentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. FOOD INNOVATION

  2. Assist the Innovation team in recipe creation & testing for all menu items.

  3. Oversee daily trials, keep clear batch records, SOPs & sample testing logs
  4. Maintain recipe sheets for all trials & evaluations
  5. Support sensory evaluations of ingredients & food samples.

  6. Collaborate with cross functional team for testing of ingredients

  7. SOURCE & EVALUATE INGREDIENTS

  8. Liaison with vendors for ingredient & sample procurement

  9. Assess raw materials & ingredients for their functionality, compliance & cost.

  10. SMALLWARE, EQUIPMENT & PACKAGING TESTING

  11. Liaison with cross functional team for packaging & smallware development & protype testing.

  12. Handle testing of all equipment & smallware as per brand standards

  13. Record observations & maintain records for all testing.

  14. FIT KITCHEN OPERATIONS

  15. Overall maintenance & upkeep of facility & equipment of the FIT Centre

  16. Procurement of all FIT ingredients, packaging & smallware
  17. Monthly stock taking & inventory management of FIT raw materials & packaging
  18. Ensure brand standards are followed at all times
  19. Oversee food safety & hygiene standards of FIT Kitchen
  20. Ensure readiness for food showcases and photoshoots

  21. Ensure all licenses for FITC are renewed and in place.

  22. FACILITY & ADMIN MANAGEMENT

  23. Maintain payroll & attendance records of housekeeping staff

  24. Create invoices and ensure timely payment to ingredient & packaging vendors
  25. Maintain & circulate daily & monthly expense records.
  26. Oversee the housekeeping staff & ensure their availability for smooth operations
